Law firms and certification consultants: referrals run both ways

We are not a law firm and we do not give legal advice. When a user is denied, faces an appeal under §26.89, or is headed into a decertification proceeding under §26.87, we need somewhere to send them — and that is you.

In return, you send us the routine work that doesn’t need a lawyer: the personal narrative draft, the annual Declaration of Eligibility, the Personal Net Worth statement, interstate packets, and notices of change. Those referrals earn the standard 20%, and your clients keep you as counsel of record.

How much do DBE Narrative Pro partners earn?
Partners earn 20% of every sale made by a referred customer for 12 months from that customer’s first purchase, including membership renewals that fall inside the window. Referrals are tracked with a 60-day cookie and paid out monthly through Lemon Squeezy Affiliates.
Does it cost my clients anything to use my referral link?
No. Your client pays the same price with or without your link, and they see a free live preview of their narrative before paying anything. The UCP directory, the state certification guides, and the narrative preview are free to everyone, referral or not.
Is DBE Narrative Pro legal advice, and does it file for my client?
No on both counts. DBE Narrative Pro is a drafting tool built around 49 CFR Part 26, as amended by the October 2025 interim final rule and the DOT final rule effective September 25, 2026. Every document is a draft the owner reviews, signs, and files with their UCP themselves. We are not a law firm; clients who need advice on an appeal or a decertification proceeding should engage an attorney, and we refer that work to our law-firm partners.
What happens to my client’s data?
A client’s answers are used only to draft that client’s own documents. We never collect Social Security numbers, documents are kept in encrypted storage scoped to the client’s account, and data is deleted on request. Partners never see a client’s answers or documents; the affiliate dashboard shows sales, not content.
Do you accept two-way referrals from law firms and consultants?
Yes. We do not handle denials, appeals, or decertification defense, so we refer that work to certification attorneys and consultants. In return, partners send us routine narrative drafting and annual-compliance work, which earns the standard 20% commission. Email Support@DBENarrativePro.com to set it up.
