DBE Narrative Pro ("we," "us," or "our") provides AI-assisted document generation tools designed to help small business owners create personal narratives and statements of economic disadvantage for use in Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) certification applications under 49 CFR Part 26.

Our services include:

• Narrative Pro ($79) — AI-powered generation of a Personal Narrative and Statement of Economic Disadvantage based on information you provide.
• Narrative Review ($49) — AI-powered review and feedback on an existing narrative you have written.
• Narrative Template ($25) — A downloadable template with guidance and structure for writing your own narrative.

These services produce draft documents intended as a starting point. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying the accuracy of all generated content before submitting it to any certifying agency.

Nothing provided by DBE Narrative Pro constitutes legal advice. Our services are document preparation and generation tools only. We do not:

• Provide legal opinions or legal counsel of any kind
• Represent you before any government agency, UCP, or certifying body
• Advise you on the legal merits of your DBE application
• Guarantee that any document we generate meets the specific requirements of your state's UCP
• Create an attorney-client or fiduciary relationship with you

If you need legal advice regarding your DBE certification, recertification, or reevaluation, we strongly recommend consulting with an attorney who specializes in government contracting, small business certification, or DBE program compliance.

We do not guarantee that using our service will result in DBE certification, recertification, or successful reevaluation. Certification decisions are made solely by your state's Unified Certification Program (UCP) or designated certifying agency based on their evaluation of your complete application, supporting documentation, and individual circumstances.

Each state's UCP may have different interpretive standards for the October 2025 Interim Final Rule requirements. The documents we generate are based on our understanding of 49 CFR Part 26 but may not reflect every state-specific requirement or interpretation.

By using our services, you agree that:

• All information you provide to us is truthful, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge.
• You will review and edit all generated documents before submitting them to any certifying agency.
• You understand that submitting false or misleading information to a UCP may result in denial of certification, decertification, or other penalties under federal and state law.
• You are responsible for ensuring your application materials comply with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
• You will not hold DBE Narrative Pro liable for any certification decisions made by a UCP or certifying agency.

Our document generation services use artificial intelligence technology. While we strive for accuracy and quality, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or phrasing that does not perfectly reflect your individual circumstances. You must:

• Carefully review all generated content for factual accuracy
• Verify that all dates, figures, and specific claims are correct
• Modify the language to authentically represent your personal experience
• Ensure the final document you submit is a true and accurate representation of your circumstances

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DBE Narrative Pro, its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to:

• Your use of or inability to use our services
• Any denial, delay, or revocation of DBE certification
• Any errors or omissions in generated documents
• Any reliance you place on the content we generate
• Any action taken by a UCP, government agency, or third party based on documents you submit

Our total liability for any claim arising from these services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We take your privacy seriously. Information you provide during the narrative generation process is used solely to create your documents. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Please note that our AI processing involves transmitting your input data to our AI service providers for document generation purposes.

We recommend that you retain your own copies of all generated documents. While we may provide download access for a limited time, we do not guarantee indefinite storage of your documents or account data.

Due to the digital nature of our products and the immediate delivery of generated documents, all sales are generally final. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from receiving your documents, please contact us at support@dbenarrativepro.com and we will work to resolve the issue or provide a refund at our discretion.

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective when posted to this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
